Interior design for small departmentsSo you have a small apartment .You may wonder how I can make my small space comfortable and cozy without being cluttered? I have your answer. Actually several answers. First start looking around, notice theplacement of windows and how the light reflects in the rooms during different times of day. You do not want to blind anyone with such stunning sunset. In turn, observe their furniture and their respective colors. Some colors can make a room look smaller, clinical and cold. Good warm tones make it more comfortable to live there. Brown, red, yellow, and orange are good colors to create a space and do make the room warmer and welcoming. Use accent rugs to help the addition of colors, as some owners do not allow the paint. Cover the sofa is a great way to add color and keep the furniture worn.

When choosing a color scheme please note that you must choose something that is easy to clean ie, browns and grays. White is not a good choice unless you have in mind not spend much time in the place. Try looking at the big picture, do not place a sofa large in small rooms. Instead, use a chair of a body or a futon. The futon not only helps with space, but in turn can be converted into a bed, for those studio apartments. If you have a limited budget and do not want to get rid of your current bed, try a litter but not the bottom. That way you can keep your clothing and other articles under the bunk and cover with a curtain . This is very useful for singles.

Try to create rooms using decorative screens . This can make a room appear two or more single rooms. Also remember the curtains, which must allow light to enter , the more light enters, the greater will look the environment. Use a small table, bar and dining table. It becomes more intimate and the perfect spot to share a cup of coffee with someone. If you are lucky to have a partner / a fourth, hide the laundry. This makes the department look small and cluttered. Plants are a great way to make the rooms appear larger. Try to hang from the ceiling or using hooks on the wall. Do not forget the importance of mirrors . The use of mirrors can make a small apartment look like giant, giving the illusion of depth. What’s more important is making sure to always have a clean space, and thus always will look wider.

After making all of the above, you are still noticing that the Department continues to appear very small Need ideas for storing things? Well, I have several to offer. Look around and check for loose magazines by the department, and get a magazine rack .It is a small box with decorative taste that helps maintain order. Get a footrest that can store things inside. It comes in handy when a surprise guest and you need to save rather quickly. A table with storage underneath it is also a wise choice. The more storage capacity be better. Wall shelves shelves contribute to the elimination of the disorder that usually appears above the dining table. Place your toy collection of gnomes on a small wall shelf and see how much free space you just generated. All suggestions presented here are easy for you to do on their own. You can get most of these items any local store household goods or hardware store.

Posted by amy | Decoration | Tuesday 8 March 2011 7:42 pm

Imagine if one day, you locked up your patio door and went to work only to arrive home, shocked that all your belongings had been stolen. Ever since cheap patio doors were first introduced, it has provided new opportunities to burglars for breaking and entering your home. Why? Patio doors come with a problem, burglars are able to lift the whole door off effortlessly. Also, if your patio door features a full length glass pane in the middle, burglars could break the glass and enter the house easily.

Fret not! The sole purpose of this article is to provide you with the options to reinforce the security of your patio doors. As we all know, normal glass panes breaks easily when a crushing force is applied. However, we can counter this problem by swapping the normal glass panes with a reinforced glass or thick laminated glass which can withstand higher crushing force and does not crack easily. This option normally costs more but ensures better protection.

Besides that, to prevent your doors from being lifted off by the burglars, you can choose either one of the options below.

* One method is to glue or screw a strip of wood or metal into the full length of the upper track. This should be done with the door fully open and checked when finished to ensure that the door can still slide freely in its track.
* The other method is to screw in several large, flat-headed screws into the upper track. Make sure that the screws do not inhibit the sliding movement of the doors. This should provide safety from being lifted off.

Another safety precaution that you may want consider is installing an auxiliary lock such as a deadbolt mechanism which can totally inhibit the movement of the door in any direction and make it difficult for the burglars as there is no lock to pick in a deadbolt.

Apart from using locks, you can also consider using a safety bar that can be stored. This safety bar when placed in the opposite direction to the movement of the door can inhibit the sliding motion of the door.

At home, the colors are basic and work together to harmonize our lives, say experts in interior decoration, so when choosing color for a room you must take into account various aspects such as the tones of the furniture, the color of the soil or carpet, if any, and the orientation of the home.

If the morning comes the sun, the pastel colors are ideal, but if the room gets the afternoon sun, the shades recommended are the coolest.

Light is one of the main factors when choosing a painting. The dark tones absorb light and make the environment appear smaller, so if the room gets little light should choose a light shade of paint for the effect.

The color is more important than belief, as each key is associated with emotion and impact negatively or positively.
